Please join us for this year’s first New Member Dinner, where you can meet fellow Longhorns new to the area and welcome them to Washington DC! We are excited to announce a new location and a special menu, created for our Chapter by Chef Rob Klink! 

The Del Frisco’s Grille new venture, the “Sunday Funday at the Grille,” features a special three course menu (and dessert) paired with a choice of a beverage for $25 per person. 

Instead of Thirsty Thursdays in January and February, DC Texas Exes is organizing a few happy hours around our Horns basketball schedule. 

The Horns have won five straight games against Top 25 opponents and are competing for the Big 12 title. 

And be sure to mark your calendar for other basketball games...

Saturday Feb 8th we will be volunteering at the Capital Area Food Bank, where we will be sorting and packing donated food for people in need in the Washington DC area. Depending on the amount of interest, we may have volunteer opportunities at both the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia warehouses.

Project Worldwide is a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement designed to unite alumni worldwide in community service during the month of February. Project Worldwide has been taking place since 1999 and is UT's largest day of service.

The Texas Exes Washington D.C. Chapter will once again be joining other chapters to show the world just how active, connected and caring The University of Texas at Austin alumni are - that we truly believe What Starts Here Changes the World!
